All brisk walks will start at 1.30p.m. The starting point for the month is the Mansion House, Calderstones Park. Please note that the mileage stated for each walk is approximate.
SAT 4th February: The Bishop's Walk and Optional Pub Carvery Meal. 4 miles. (Allerton Park Golf Course, Ronnie's path, Woolton Quarry, Reynolds Park)
The meal will be immediately after the walk at the The Greenhills which is part of the Crown Carvery chain. The cost of the standard carvery is £3.85. Recently the chain has introduced a large carvery at an extra cost of £1.50. Starters, sweets and vegetarian options also available. A full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be bought.Usually there is a small selection of cask beers. No need to book
SAT 11th February: Black Wood/Childwall Woods Circular. 3.5 miles.
SAT 18th February: Calderstones/Woolton Village/Camp Hill Circular. 5 miles.
SAT 25th February: Voyage of Discovery. 6.5 miles (Black Wood, Gateacre, Loopline, Childwall Fields, Childwall Woods, Black Wood.)
